Auguste Rodin wanted to represent Dante at the entrance to hell while meditating on his great poem, The Divine Comedy.
There are few modern works that have settled in the common imagination so deeply.
Romano Donà wanted to pay homage to Rodin by interpreting the message through the glass material.
Romano leaves aside the typical transparencies of glass to rely on a uniform opaque violet glass mass in which the eye is lost in depth and then returns to the simple and essential lines.

Tecnique: massello, acidato
Designed and created by Romano Donà
